Would you consider a bottle of wine a day is an addiction? If so, then yes, you need help.
Some people have higher thresholds, and are able to control their drinking habits. It's not so much about how much per day per se, but it's about whether there is control over the drinking.
If it is already impairing your daily undertakings, I really would support the others' advice about seeking rehab.

An alcoholic may only drink once a year and still be an alcoholic.
Are you really "addicted" to a bottle a wine every day, or do you just enjoy it and recognize the health benefits. If you had a glass of wine with each meal it would or would almost be a bottle per day, would you consider that an unhealthy addiction? I would not consider your situation a problem, unless you have been untruthful about the amount you consume, or you personally believe it is a problem.

You can answer your own question on this: it is not healthy. you will become a wino like a person drinking beer or alcohol become a alcholic. It is true though that drinking 1 glass of red wine a day will help keep your saturated fats down and improve your health. A bottle is a no no and its sole purpose is to get drunk. You should sip and enjoy wine. Read a book on wine tasting and how you do it and ai promise you it will be rewarding as you never believe what it teachers you. This is based on a good bottle of wine $18-$26 dollars. I prefer red becauce there are a lot more benefits then white wine.

I've been drinking the equivalent of that amount each day since I was a teenager. I'm 58 and fine. Abstinence is a modern phenomenon. Even in developed countries, until about 80 years ago the only safe drinks you could get were alcoholic or boiled, like tea or coffee. Unless you've got some serious medical condition, like hepatitis, a bottle of wine a day will do you good. The only moderate drinkers I've ever met who came to grief didn't eat a balanced diet. Especially, a drinker needs more B vitamins than an abstainer.

You will suffer long term damage from drinking a bottle of wine a day. Giving your liver no time to recover is what will kill it eventually. Its your choice to drink - but be aware of the dangers.

No, you drink like a girl. You should either A. Step up to the plate and drink a thing of boxed wine a night or B. Switch to hard liquor, preferably Bacardi 151, a liter bottle of that a night will turn you into the person you're looking to be. It worked for me! I'm currently unemployed, homeless, my family left me, and the only time I can sign on to the internet is when I sneak (yea I was kicked out for looking up porno) into the local libary.

You are drinking too much and too often. It is not healthy at all. If you want help to stop go to an AA meeting they are free and are everywhere,I have friends that go and are clean and sober for a long time. The meetings are a great support group. Best Wishes...asking this question is your first step.

HEALTHY? what really is anymore? going outside in the sun supposedly isn't, i think the fact that you wrote this question (with an untruthful consumption amount) and submitted it to this site needing attention and justification, possibly means your lack of health lies somewhere else...

Should you carry on this, the result is that your liver is likely to get damaged. Please stop immediately and why you must be an alcoholic, after all this cannot help you to solve your problems.
