bulimia is not only classified by the sufferers desire to lose weight. if you binge and purge that's bulimia.
i know you probably don't want to hear it but it's probably worth your while to sort out any emotional issues you may have. trust me, if it's emotional eating that's causing this then you will be so glad once it's taken care of.
another thing to consider is your lifestyle. alot of factors can contribute to binge eating. things like skipping breakfast, skipping meals, eating significantly less over a number of days... even because you're purging the food you're consuming you're probably lacking in some nutrients and your body needs more and will trigger you to keep eating.
you know, your body will only ask for the amount of food it needs everyday. overeating can be controlled.
bulimia is an addiction and it's a cycle very difficult to break. it's always more than just the need to throw up what you've just eaten. it's about why you've over-eaten in the first place and why you feel like you need to get rid of it. most people over-eat from time to time, but purging is not an option to them because it's not such a big deal.
perhaps you might just be overeating because you know you have the option of getting rid of it all. maybe you say to yourself "oh alright, i'll eat this because i know i'll end up throwing it up. no big deal" that's how the disease works. bulimics binge with every intention of throwing up afterwards.
my advice to you is to tap into your mind and figure out why you overeat. common reasons are lonliness, low self esteem, feeling unworthy or feeling out of control of your life. i'm not saying you feel any of the above, but it's worthwhile to check it out.

if you eat a ton of food but don't get fat, you might just have a really fast metabolism, in which case, eating a lot of food is probably okay for you, and not something to worry so much about.
the making yourself throw up and the emotional issues are more what you need to keep your eyes on. if possible, please try to stop yourself from making yourself throw up...and if this is too hard for you, PLEASE let somebody know who has the authority to help you if you need it. not necessarily a counselor at this point, or even a parent, but some adult with knowledge and power to help. this is essential because even if it's not a serious problem yet, which i don't know for sure, it might become very, very serious later and you want to be in a position where you can get help if you need it.

Well first of all everyone loves food. I think your getting to the point where it is bulimia. And you need to stop, your gonna get yourself into a routine that isn't good.......eat a lot then throw up until you feel better.......that's gotta change...NOW!!! For your own sake. If your always craving food then just eat every two hours but make them portion size not anything more!!! And make sure they have protein, carbs, and that are healthy or that your body needs it!!! And drink water.
Hope this helps ;)

yes it's bulimia. anytime you over eat and force your self to throw up is considered bulimic. not sure how long this has been going on but it will become more frequent until it becomes the norm. then it becomes a way of life. then it will spiral out of control. so what you once controlled, now controls you. this is experience speaking. over 20 years of battling it. mine started the same....i liked to eat, i was not fat at all, just liked to eat. i read about throwing up in glamour magazine. the story was about a girl who was "healed" from it. it appealed to me rather than scaring me off. you may feel the same way. I dabbled in throwing up. then after a few years of "only throwing up when I overate" it turned to once a day, then every time i ate until it controlled me. i went through periods when i gained control back. but theres no such thing as being a little bulimic. you may not feel you need help now but you will. seek out a nutritionist and also a counselor to find out 1) health conscience ways to not over eat. 2) why you feel the need to over eat. hope this helps.

Yes, this is definitely bulimia. Often bulimia has little with wanting to lose weight, or be skinny, as binge-purging rarely leads to weight loss. I think you should talk to your GP and get treatment.

Yes, you are. ANd if you aren't yet, you are on your way to being bulimic. Please stop, it's realy not a nice way to live. ANd just because you don't do it to lose weight, and because you aren't skinny doesn't make you less bulimic. Most do it to be like you and feel less full and to maintain weight. I'm thinking you are, and that it will only get worse if you don't get help. Hope you're well.

Bulimia is actually an emotional disorder characterized by a distorted body image and obsessive desire to loose weight, in which bouts of extreme overeating are followed by fasting or self induced vomitting or purging. You better visit the link below and get full knowledge about bulimia.

it sounds like bulimia to me. and you do need to get some help before things get more out of control. please tell your parents or someone else that you can trust. you have to get this under control sweetie, because if you don't, it will take control of you. I speak from experience, I am a recovering anorexic. I didn't think I was out of control either, until I almost died. so please tell someone, you need to get help. and I'm saying this because I care.
Take care, and tell someone okay?

Please stop making yourself throw up, this is awful for your body as the stomach acid will eventually wear away your teeth and could cause tears in your throat or even rupture your esophagus
