you should get it thinned with a razor at a salon. a friend of mine recently got it done and she had HUGE and thick hair, it looks great now, all nice and layery and thin!

There could be more than 1 solution here.

Go to a salon and have the stylist cut your hair with blending/thinning shears. It won't change the length; it will only eliminate the excess thickness. You'll need to have this done about once a month. When done properly by a professional stylist, it will turn out fine and won't be unmanageable.

You could also try layers, although the stylist may still use the thinning or blending shears.

Or you could invest in a flatiron which helps some people with excess thickness because it presses the hair flat using extreme heat. Be careful with using one of these because they can really wreak havoc on your hair if you're not careful.

Regardless of your choice, you'll want to use a hair serum and an anti-frizz shampoo and conditioner.

wow omg this sounds just like me! hah. well to make it look thinner i use either dove anti frizz cream (its called anti frizz but helps wit the thickness) or sunsilk anitpoof cream. both work well, but i personally like dove better. to make it actually thinner try getting a haircut with layers, but whatever you do DO NOT GET IT THINNED.!! i got my hair thinned and it broke my hair off and made it look really really bad (i got it thinned about 6 months agho and its still yucky looking) also try to keep some length in your hair, but not too much cuz if you cut it short your ahir will just poof out and look wayy thicker than before, but if its too long then your hair will get to be hard to manage. hope this helped.! = ]]

A hair stylist can razor it for you to thin it out. Or you can have lots of layers put in it and it will appear much thinner. I have thin hair but lots of it and it had helped me in the past. A straightener also helps smooth it out so it's not so puffy!

Thick hair is good. You lose hair as you get older, so pamper your lovely hair! You can straighten your hair with a straightener.

DONT make it thinner
as you age, it will fall out
and soon, you will have very thin hair
so the thicker your hair, the better
thick hair is BEAUTIFUL
