If you are a Christian, they can find Jesus in you by your deed and actions. It is already a living testimony and physical proof that Jesus is living in you out of you conducts and behaviours.
We Christian do not have or should have to wrestle about people who tries to undermined our faith for it is not us who will do the working but by the holy spirit that lives in you. As Jesus said I have already conquered the world. As Christian we have to be very bold and strong hold with our faith for by doing so we will soon get the reward that is being set for us. In Jesus name everything will work out.

Anyone with religion is belittled because they are so obviously lacking in the intelligence department.
It is clear to anyone with a brain that functions at an advanced level that god does not exist but is a fabrication by mankind - always was and MAY continue in the minds of fools for some time yet.
Thus, those of us who have seen the light of reality will look upon the blind faith of believers with some degree of pity. However, in the main, we will shut up about it and not preach OUR philosophy on a daily basis to those that don't want to hear. It is only when a question is asked of us that we will respond.
Face facts. Jesus was probably quite a clever guy at the time of his life, who used an opportunity to better the conditions of his people but was forced to use some subterfuge to cause them to listen and obey the rules for life. Fear was the drive. Fear of being cast into a burning pit for eternity OR, if you are good little boys and girls, an eternity in paradise. Choose, Cake or Death.
Either way, JC died a LONG time ago and, since there is no god and no afterlife, in whichever imaginary location, he has long since rotted away in the same fashion that the rest of us mortals will do.
To claim that he is living in some fanciful location with god is stretching feasibility beyond the sensible and to further claim that he will descend to earth again some time in the future is just ridiculous. Get a real life?
Atheism is really the only logical choice that a free-thinker can make. Free yourself from the theatre of ridicule and grow up to be a real human being, while you have time left to you. See, you're going nowhere once you expire so use what you have now and don't waste it on religion.
Just be the best that you can be NOW. Use your life for the betterment of others, even if it's only your own family but even better if you can contribute in some way to the benefit of the human race as a whole and that would be FAR more than the fictitious god is doing (ie nothing at all).
Advice freely given. Now it's your choice. Choose wisely.

What I believe is, many people nowadays have to SEE something to know it's there. Since people can't see it, they don't believe in it. However, they always seem to look past the things God has DONE for them: he keeps us, blesses the people around us so that they may bless us, etc. Everyday that you're alive is proof that God is real, and still moving.
On another note, Christians are belittled for being Christians because of people who PROFESS their Christianity but do not POSSESS what they try to tell others. How is it that one day you tell someone that cursing and smoking is not of God, and the next day you're doing the very thing you told them wasn't good. The enemy has many ways of tricking God's people and using others to do his business. But until people start POSSESSING and practicing what they teach and preach, things would be a lot better.

I think the problem is that so many people confuse all of Christianity with the subset that goes around telling people they're going to hell, picketing abortion clinics or homosexuals' funerals, and answering almost every question about tarot or dream interpretation in the mythology section with "God says no--it's the work of Satan!" Being condescended to makes most adults defensive (just as you are understandably defensive about being asked to "prove" Jesus), and so some act defensively before they realize that your belief in Jesus doesn't make you at all judgemental of the rest of us. I'm sorry you're caught in the middle.
For what it's worth--what matters is that YOU know Jesus is important in your life. It's not your responsibility to prove Him to anyone else, unless you're using Him as grounds for some other argument.

considering the amount of acceptance there is of christians in the u.s. and the amount of critisicm, anger, and down right prejudice there is toward pagans, i'm not sure how you can ask that question in good conscience. i know people who have lost jobs, been rejected by their parents and families, and have had to defend themselves daily for being non christians. (just ask an american muslim after 911)
for quite a few centuries now, people have been disciminated against if their religion isn't the standard concept of christianity. our own president has admitted to being a fundamentalist christian, but i have yet to see a jewish, or pagan president. or a black one, or a woman.
i am not in a cult, do not worship idols, do not sacrifice people or animals, do not have sex with everyone, do not kill or harm others, yet that is what the popular christian interpretation of a pagan is. how do i know that? they tell me. i do not try to convert anyone to my spirituality, yet i am constantly being told i am going to hell. even after i tell them i don't believe in hell.
if you are talking about yq&a, then you are out of luck as well. just as many pagans are belittled as christians.
by the way, jesus of nazareth was real. there is written documentation of that (not talking bible). whether or not he was the direct and bodily form of god on earth? well, we are all that. but if you want to believe differently....then go ahead. that's why there is freedom of religion.

If Christians would mind their own business and quit preaching at those who aren't interested in Jesus, they wouldn't be asked to prove he's real. You're not going to succeed in selling something people don't want and don't need, especially when you make yourself a pest and have no proof that your product is useful, reliable, or valuable.

You can't prove He is real...
You can't prove He is not real...
And besides... If you NEED proof, you've missed the whole point... You're supposed to have the FAITH that He exists...
And some Christians get belittled because they act like this guy...

Why are atheists always belittled by christians who think evolution is fake and creationism is real??? I have never said Jesus wasn't real. I do believe Jesus existed and had a very good message that we can all learn from. But I do not believe that he was the son of god.

Techinically, your Bible literally TELLS US to belittle you for being Christian. We are only doing what you want us to do, we're being pretty nice about doing it to. We may belittle you, but at least you are supported as one of the, if not the, most popular religions in the world.
