I like to use a product called CHI silk infusion. It really helps.. Read the below artical i found in IVILLAGE magazine.
Good luck

Static strikes your strands when they become electromagnetically charged due to a lack of moisture in the air. Vigorous brushing and wool hats make it worse. Try switching to a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner during the winter, and follow up with a leave-in conditioner, says Dianna Sandonato, director of product testing at Matrix. Try Biolage Ultra-Hydrating Shampoo, $9.95, and Balm, $14.95. Another flyaway fighter: Spritz Static Guard onto your brush, let dry, then give strands a few swipes. Also spray some on the inside of your hat before you wear it to prevent a static attack.

It's winter so it's really dry. Start by using good shampoo and conditioner. Not Suave or Pantene! Biolage is good. I just started using a product by TIGI called Shine Junkie. If you feel like it's too much to use alone (too greasy) mix it with another gel in your hands and then dry your hair. Works for me.

A friend of mine told me this trick just a few days ago. Get a little bit of lotion and rub it on your hands, then very lightly run your fingers through your hair. It will help get rid of the static. Good luck! It worked for me!

Go to the store and look for creams that prevent frizziness. Also you can put a little bit of lotion in your palm and rub it in your hair, or try a dryer sheet.

Coincidentally, I just saw this trick on tv. You wipe your hair with a dryer sheet. They also said not to brush your hair too much or that will cause more static. Give it a try!

when your hair is drying, just put the tiniest amount of gel in it. If you don't use too much then it won't look like you have it in your hair, but it does work to stop the static! Hope I helped

On E! News today, they told you to use a 'dryer sheet' to smooth down your hair.

*shrugs*

I find if you spray a little hairspray on your hand and then rub it into your roots it works a little. Or if im having a bad hair day i use mousse. ... or a hat.

A used dryer sheet work wonders. Make sure it is a used one, because if you use a new one, you will make your hair oily.

Good Luck

I have had this problem in the past. Just wet a brush or comb and run it through your hair, it worked for me. God bless!

Use Aussie 3 Minute Miracle. Walmart has it. It's about 3 bucks. Trust me, I had tried EVERYTHING.
