Yes,I have had a near death experience. In fact I had a car accident about 6 years ago where my head hit the front windscreen of the car and I went to a deep Coma for a few days.
Believe me or not the Coma was the best time I have ever had in my life. First of all I felt a very high speed which was very joy full. The medicine they used to bring me back was a torture to my soul.It felt like hearing the hard chuck noise scratching on blackboard. I was nearly about to fly away but one dead family members of mine avoided my flight. I never understood why? The other experience I felt in that coma period was the fast forward of the time that I believe I even saw the formation of the earth itself from and outer space. But no direct feeling of heaven or hell. Just an ease feeling no worries any more and no responsibilities.
As I became conscious first I believed I have no weight and no body. I asked the nearby nurse if I possess a body.

Yes I did and no I did not go to Heaven (or Hell). I didn't see bright tunnels of light, or angels, pearly gates, or Jesus. It was much different then that.
Took many years before I figured out what I saw. You see, when I had my first NDE I saw among other things, a rainbow bridge (which in Norse mythology is the Bifrost bridge, which connects the shining realm of the Gods to the world of man and Asgard.) Guarding that bridge was a God, who now I believe was Heimdall. I asked were it lead to, he said the home of the Shining Ones; He also said one day I would cross the bridge but not yet. Now, I found this to be very odd at the time because I was a Christian and was expecting to see Jesus, not Norse Gods! Well, it should go without saying now I am an Asatruar.
Not everyone who has a NDE is going to see Heaven or Hell.

No... it was very painful and horrifying!
Being beat 1/2 to death by a Baptist for doing nothing other than answering honestly to a question is NO fun for a barely 16 year old girl!
But you have a nice day!

I almost died, but heaven wasn't what I saw, it was the gates of hell.
Satan was standing there waiting for me to take my last breath, and then he would drag my sorry butt into eternal punishment.
It was scary, now I am a Christian, no more fear of hell.
