No. It's a trendy lie. If people find out you're in your 30s like I am, they treat you dramatically differently than if you were in your 20s. Women especially and younger people most of all.
The only way you manage to get people to keep treating you like you're in your 20s when you're in your 30s is simple: lie.

Knowledge and technology have increased rapidly so now the younger persons are as adept or knowledgeable as someone 10-20 years older.
