Are you saying that these marches would be in protest of radical Islamists? If that is the case then my first reaction would be to feel a sense of relief and trust that so many Muslims would protest against the radicals. Almost immediately though I began to think -- it's all an act designed to make us THINK they are protesting against the radicals so that we will let our guard down. I just don't trust Muslims at all. I think that some are less radical than others but I believe that they all support the radicals and want them to succeed in their "holy wars."

Neither because it would not make it on TV and no one would listen. They never do. I can't count how many times Muslims have spoke out against suicide bombings. Restating repeatedly that the Quran says that to kill one Innocent person is as if you have killed all of man kind and that suicide is not permissible. The only ones who listen are those who's hearts are open to the truth.
But that said. We are just the latest in the long line of those persecuted in the US. The Am. Indians are no longer called Savages. Those of African decent are no longer slaves, The Japanese are no longer imprisoned on suspicion of being Kamikaze's, The Russian immigrants are no longer Communist terrorist, And so on and so on. There has been so much racist name calling in this country. It is amazing that a county who's constitution clearly states "all people are created Equal" can have such a history of Racism. If one person of one race or religion is a bad person they must all be. But all I can say is "this too will pass". I just feel sorry for the next "enemy or the state".

No I think if American Muslims had a March against Islamists it would be very good. I would embrace there march for peace and tolerance. There are some Americans who are just racist. You will find that in every country however Many people are having a hard time and wondering why Muslims are silent when innocents are killed. Its the SILENCE that makes people suspicious.

America would definatly not appreicate it. No one likes to feel unsafe in their own home, and rallys like this lead to riots in the streets.
I believe that it could turn some of the more tolerant Americans against your cause. Plus, protesting (marching) often ends in some sort of riot.
The only way to do it would be to do it and to not allow within your groups people who would take it too far.

There could be a feeling of suspicion that they had waited so long, i could check out who became at the back of it and with a bit of luck embody it. i think the suitable term could be suspicious optimism. Suspicion between disparate communities is widespread, after the 911 incident i finished in for my top off at a community gas station. the owner and that i had substitute into pals as I were combating two times weekly to fill my SUV; I lived an prolonged way from paintings. as quickly as I pulled in he recommended my that gas became now $5 according to gallon, I laughed, the look in his eyes advised me he became no longer giggling. I pulled down the line to a different gas station which became owned by skill of an Arab. I went interior earlier filling up and asked the fee. He laughed and asked whether or no longer i ought to envision the sign; the published sign confirmed the traditional cost. wager who i offered my gas off of from then on out. The Arab supervisor became greater desirable than satisfied advertising me the eighty gallons of gas a week, we grew to alter into stable pals. the yank born proprietor tried outstanding American flags and writing American born on his homestead windows yet he became out of employer interior 2 months. The Arab guy "Mo" became waiting to purchase a good larger homestead and grew to alter into very customary in that properly heeled community. returned I used suspicious optimism and the two factors gained, the certainty will come out basically because it may on your hypothetical parade.

Umm I dunno I can't talk for America when those American Muslims too are "America" and people I have no contact with psychically. I would view it as good statement. But I can't answer for the rest of the population.

as an american muslim, i feel that this would only cause more problems. like throwing gas on the fire. know what i mean?
we muslims don't exactly have a "good name" in the usa. and that wouldn't make it any better.
God Bless

Depends on what they'd be protesting. If they were protesting instituting some Islamic belief on the rest of us then, there'd be a huge, HUGE problem.

It would depend on the message they were trying to communicate. I like to think that the right message would be embraced. :)
