If your vet says the cat is OK physically, there's obviously something more mental/emotional going on. Cats, like most other animals (whether kept indoors exclusively or not), can feel vulnerable when they're urinating or defecating. They're standing still and may unconsciously feel that they're an easy "target" for predators. But a cat generally feels safe in the owner's bed. It smells like you - the protector. And, once the bed, or other area, is marked with the cat's scent, it becomes a reinforcing behavior.
So you have to deal with the situation from the cat's point of view. And that's hard, because you don't know what is making the cat nervous. In fact, the cat may actually be OVER the initial fear, and is now using the bed because the scent is still there and she thinks that's where she's supposed to go. It's a tough one.
I'd recommend that you have a talk with your vet. Tell him/her the problem and ask for advice. If you don't get a great deal of advice (sadly, this can be a common problem with vets), then ask for the names and numbers of an animal behaviourist. If your vet doesn't know any, ask at pet shops, animal shelters, or even a zoo. Someone is bound to come up with some names/numbers/e-mail addresses/websites that you can contact.
In fact, you could probably do an Internet search using keywords like "problem behaviors in cats" or "cat house soiling" or some similar combinations of words. For now, I'd simply put a small litterbox on that part of the bed where she does the most soiling; and then gradually move the box to the edge of the bed, then maybe a chair beside the bed, then to the floor. It may be a time-consuming process, but you have to increase her comfort level in using the box.
Hope this helps. Good luck.

First of all, cats live longer that are inside only. Is your cat declawed? Is so there could be a reason. Have you taken her to the vets? She could have a urinary infection. Is she spayed? If not then they will pee outside the box. There is a litter called Cat Attract, they sell it at pet superstores such as Petsmart, Petco, Pet Supplies Plus. It is guarenteed 100% to work or your money back.

how old is this cat? Is it a kitten that you has never used a box before? If this cat is an adult and stopped using the box suddenly, you need to take a visit to the vet as this may be an indication of a bladder or urinary tract infection. You need to rule out this being a medical problem first. Your cat may be trying to tell you something, get her to the vet.

Hey there,
Our cat did the same, but she also peed under the couch. It could be an infection. Or it's just a problem. My mom told me that then the cat peed on the bed you should smake him/her on the rear and say bad girl you shouldn't do that, then rube the cats nose in it. It does sound mean and I hated that, but it really works. Trust me. I DON'T ABUSE MY CATS IT'S CRULE. She stopped peeing on the bed ever since and now goes in the litter box.
Byeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Do you have another cat? My older cat had a spell when we introduced the new kitten, and he, of course, marked his territory- all over! We keep my kitten in the laundry room, so he goes to sleep and doesn't attack my other cat. Maybe for a while you should keep him in a seperate room?

first take your cat to the vet to make sure there isn't an infection that is leading her to do this..
then you may want to try a product called "Feliway", I've never used it but you can read about it and reviews on Amazon.com if you do a search for it.
