Face your fears always and they will go away. Stand up for what you think is right good friends will do the right thing also. The one how dint are not your friends in the first place. Friends are not something that you earn by always agreeing with the crowed. Real friends can disagree and still be friends.

Pathetic. I would prefer the good friend.

What about you? Do you give in to the harsh and rudeness a bunch of superficial teen girls give towards one of your friends??

I use to have a really good friend, who decided she would rather hang out with the more popular group and she took off.
I will never forgive her, harsh enough. She will never forget how she abadoned her best friend.

You don't have to "take up" for her. All you have to do is continue being her friend the way you are doing now. You have good character.
