People who believe that science is a sin think that only because they don't understand their own religion and science truly, you see? I'm Muslim, and Islam encourages us to discover whatever we can (especially in science), and it even says that discovering so is a form of worshipping God! Yep, yep, yep. Science isn't a sin, silly people.

You know, Im pretty sure a large majority of Christians do not believe science is a sin. It reveals the power and beauty of God to us even more. Try to give a little proof next time you generalize like that.

Many Christians believe that if they believe in evolution that it goes against the bible but it doesn't. They believe since God said He made everything in 6 days that they had to be 24 hour days. But it's possible those days could've been thousands of years long because Peter says in 2 Peter, "A day to the Lord is as a 1,000 years." There is so much proof of evolution. I am a Christian, too, but not a creationalist. I don't know why they ignore facts when they only prove the bible all the more acurate.

Because they are too arrogant to accept facts and reality when it is put in front of their ignorant faces! An example I have mentioned in the past, I believe, Catholics, involves how certain people were considered witches for stating that the Earth is round and the Earth goes around the sun! I love science and because of these pricks, I do not have much of a life right now- the pompas arrogance! The inhumane undemocratic single minded mentality so as to label people like you claim above as insane idiots! These people are really dangerous because of their self righteous ignorance! Just like in the movie "Scrooge":
Beware of this girl and this boy for they represent want and ignorance but beware of this boy the most"!!

Science is hard to teach properly. Even some evolutionists at YA don't have it straight. Science has also shown us that the brain is predispositioned for the short and sweet answer, and the reality of the scientifically known universe is that it is complex.

Science is not a sin. Science was born from Christianity. If you look at guys like Newton, etc, they looked to find out how God did things.

"Science" = Greek for "knowledge." Thus Paul warns us, "O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called" (1 Timothy 6:20). In other words, no Christian fears actual science. We object to people forming religions and CALLING it "science."

Science does not go against the bible. Theories without fact or presumptuous beliefs are a sin.

Amen! I love science and believe God created everything.
It scares people to think intelligent people (i.e. Stephen Hawkins) could believe in God. It leaves atheist out in the cold with nothing to fall back on.
