why do anorexics grow fine hairs all over their bodies? i know alot about anorexia, but i could never figure out why this happened.

The extra hair helps them to keep warm since they don't have enough adipose tissue (fat layers) to do the job.

It is a type of survival mechanism. When the body gets too skinny, it loses alot of the fat that keeps it warm. To compensate, the body grows fine hair all over.

We are mammals. Mammals have hair. It's utterly common. Each person has hair far and wide their body (most above all on the arms, underarms, pubic neighborhood, and legs for ladies). Many females even have first-rate hair on their belly neighborhood. I woudl now not worry abuot it at all.
