He must be quite a catch! I hope you like him for more than his looks. Look at all the broken-hearted girls and women in your life. Did they pick the guy who broke their heart because he was kind, hard-working, sensitive, respectful of women or did they pick their "man" because of his looks? If he is a kind person who deserves to be loved, then why not try to get to know him better? You don't necessarily have to ask him out. You can talk to him and see if he even enjoys your company --maybe get another girl who knows you two to introduce you (casually, so no one gets embarrassed). Then you can wave "hi" to him and see if he goes out of his way to talk to you. Whatever you decide to do, good luck!!

The only real question here is why this guy was two months late for school? Was he stranded in Mexico? Was he locked away in jail? Did he have mono, or herpes, or leprosy? These are issues you need to resolve before starting a relationship with someone. Otherwise, if you're attractive (and I assume you are because he has already asked you out once) getting him back is just a matter of letting him know that you're interested. Women change their mind all the time, I'm sure that he knows that.

Wow... Hmmm... I literally wouldn't go for a guy who missed 2 months of school. What's up with that?

Find yourself a nerd who takes school seriously. They appreciate a girl more.
