ok, a friend and i were arguing about cereal the other day. she was eating the cereal KIX and had one single KIX, but she claimed she was eating a "kick" because it was one individual piece of the cereal. i argued that it was "kix" regardless of the number of pieces.

then i used other examples such as TRIX and TWIX....i told her that you wouldn't call one single trix a "trick" or a single twix a "twik."

any opinions?

This is more of an opinionated arguement then an actual fact. However I that you are correct that it is a Kix and not a kick unless you want to change Trix into trick and Twix into Twig or something of the sort.

as the friend who started this fiasco let me say this, i still believe that i am right... and furthermore, she has taken this completely out of context. i dropped one "kick" on the floor of my clean dorm and i said "damn kick" she started this whole thing when in truth i wasnt even talking to her because she doesnt like to hear anything regarding a clean room... cause thats just not her thing

What are you gals smoking and where can I get some?

Seriously, I would rather chat about this than politics and war any day of the week.

Since they are made up names, I think they would keep the "x"
