just include fibre in your diet. things like unprocessed bran, prunes, wholegrains and seeds, most fruit and veg (like apples, corn...). look it up on any nutrition website or in a book. fibre is easy to include in your diet.
but remember to drink alot of water with a high fibre diet because if you don't, all this fibre will have a reverse effect and make you constipated. this is because all the fibre creates bulk in your system and the water is needed to flush it out.
another thought could be to increase the dosage of the pills you're taking. i don't see why they wouldn't be working, maybe you're not taking enough or maybe you're not drinking enough fluids...?

Dried prunes and apricots are great for that. Its natural fiber that tastes good and works like a charm. In my experience it has worked when other products have failed.

Trust me - drink about 5 -8 oz of prune juice from grocery store, stay home and in no longer than 2 hours you will have your crap.
If you don't like the taste of it (its not really all that bad) plug your nose when you knock it back.

drink a lot of "water". If you drink a lot of water, it will make you crap. If you drink milk of magnesia it will make you crap a lot.
