i use water from a water can
i have next to my toilet to make sure i am clean.
then i fold the toilet paper and wipe.

definitely wad. i've never heard of folding it. the wad creats an uneven surface and somehow that seems more conducive to cleaning the crevice

I grab the roll and unroll it while..looping it around my hand, then rip it off the roll. Then slide it off my hand - before I use it. it seems somewhat folded I guess if that's what you mean. Doesn't everyone do that?
