After almost a year working with a wonderful woman, I decided to tell her a week before I left the office how I felt. I had talked to her during the year, rode with her to and from work a few times, and even invited her to lunch during work and small things like that. I had fallen in love with her very soon after she began working at our office. Things became awkward after she told me at one point that she likes to keep work and family/friends completely separate, and it felt like I could barely talk to her anymore. I finally told her, as I said, how I felt, and she said she just thought of us as coworkers but would be glad to stay in touch after I left if I wanted to. After I left, I wrote her several times but she never contacted me back. Any advice?? It hurt really badly for the longest time. I feel like I might be over it now, but it wasn't too long ago and I felt like this before, and it was deceiving because the pain came roaring back... help? Thanks!

It doesn't appear that she ever returned the feelings for you, which I know can be very painful. It seems like she was frightened by your honesty and did not know how to respond. By saying that you could keep in touch was most likely her way of getting out of a sticky situation w/out having to face your disapointment.
I am sorry that it was not a mutual thing. Try to move on and open your self up to other opportunities..... Best of luck..

Been there. Stay away. If she REALLY liked you, she'd find a way to make it work. She doesn't feel the same, man- no disrespect intended, I'm in your corner. I want you to find someone new- and she is out there. Do you know that feeling that a woman can give you that she is so special that she must be the only one? There are a THOUSAND women that can make you feel like they are the ONLY one!

Hey just let it go. She's missing out on what seems to be a good thing. You know a friend once told me that, " we always fall for those who don't see us,but the ones who do love us are the one's that we pay no attention to." Do you understand what I'm telling you? It's great that you let your feelings show, she may take a great interest in you also. She's just scared or maybe just an as*hol*.

She told you that she thought of you as a coworker, and nothing more. That should have been a clear message that she is not interested in having a relationship with you. Therefore, the fact that she has not contacted you should come as no surprise. It is time to move on.

i hate to tell you man...but it sounds like she is just going to leaving you hanging...i hate to say that, but how long has it been since you sent her the letters? do you think she's had time to receive them and write back? just try to move on...as hard as that sounds...i know how you can feel like there's only one woman like her and no one else can come close...but in time you will change your mind...especially with not seeing her or hearing from her. In my case, the girl i liked started dating a marijuana smoker from high school, and she made sure i knew all about what they did together...she was constantly bringing him into my work and things...at least you don't have to deal with the pain of seeing her with another man.

sounds like a crush, she obviously is not the right woman for u
u deserve much better and her silly remarks about coworker crap.
She was just playin with your emotions, forget her and move on.
there is more fish in the sea, dont let her get your emotional powers, cheer the heck up and cupid will strike the real arrow.
