There certainly are. Try www.volunteermatch.org or www.faithinaction.org. I'd also try nursing homes, which can always use visitors, or VA hospitals to meet veterans. If it's hard for you to get around on your own, you can ask a place that works with elderly people if they can assign you someone as a phone buddy: you call someone each day at a pre-arranged time, just to remind them to take their medication and to make sure they haven't fallen and can't get up. If they don't answer, you call the agency and let them know and they can go out and check. Just takes a few minutes a day, and you brighten someone else's day, and you don't have to travel to do it.

People like school councilors, church elders, charity organizations, should be able to help you. Get your parents to check them out first.
