considering moving to mt hood or hood river area. is the cost of living decent, what about rent. looking for work in the automobile business will be a uti graduate.

You could live in Sandy which is at the base of Mt. Hood. There is a pretty big Ford dealership there. It is also really close if you want to go to Mt. Hood. There are some great winter activities, i.e., skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing etc. The summer is pretty good too, there is an alpine slide at Ski Bowl which is fun and a lot of good areas to fish for trout and mountain bike.

You would have better luck getting a job in the columbia gorge area then you would in mt hood. All mt hood area is, is a seasonal ski resort with only seasonal jobs.

I like Mt. Hood. But face it, what if it erupts? I don't think u should move there.

Look into Bend, Or.... fabulous place to live and near Mt Batchelor ski area and other mts
