they might, and most likely will. to make this easier for your birds to take care of all the babies and the maybe new coming eggs, try hand feeding the current babies. that will make the current babies alot sweeter to people and it will remove alot of stress from the parents. but first, go to your local specialty bird store and ask them about hand feeding and any other questions you might have

At five weeks try to wean them with soft cooked fruits, veggies, and grains. You might use bird formula at least 2 times a day. Since the nest box was not removed, it's possible that you are going to be a parent again. Feed the parents good pellet food, 10% seeds,10% fruits and veggies and hard cooked egg with crumbled shell for the extra protein and calcium needed for healthy offspring and a healthy hen. After the next clutch is weened, remove the nest box, be sure your birds are in darkness 10-12 hours a day. Most birds need this. More light can trigger more egg laying fertile or infertile. Your female needs a rest. Even chickens can breed to death.Congratulations on such a success. Have a tweet year.

basically allow them do what they pick to do and then once the mama has eggs, get rid of them from the cage. having to many eggs is tooo a lot responcibility and she or he already has to protect the 5 week previous cockatiel toddlers

If your cockatiels have layed more than one clutch already you will probably have to sepparte the male and the female so that they will not mate again

you have to put the babies back to the nestbox or they will die, or else feed the babies since the parents are mating

most likely- I would get rid of the nest box after this next clutch until next year- or you may end up with a dead female. Give her plenty of time to replace her calcium (cuttlebone, if she eats it- otherwise scrape it on food) or you may end up with her eggbound, or fragile eggshells and deformed babies.
