Hey, i want to know how i can get alittle bit fat. i weight 140 pnds (without shoes. only socks and clothing.). and i am 15 yrs old. i feel very skinny THUS i am very unhappy with myself :(. both of my parents are not too skinny but yeah their skinny people. but does that mean i have to be skinny like them for the rest of my life?! is there something that i can drink or do to gain weight? i dont want that supid *$&%^ about Sitting on the couch and doing nothing. (because i already tried that and that just does not do anything.) and also i dont want to do any weights or anything it just makes you look good and still skinny >:0 Thanx for your time :)

oh yeah and i eat anything that passes me. (anything that eatible :P) so yeah i eat like a pig but i dont get fat

You could have a metabolism problem.
But a lot of teen age guys are thin. It has to do with the fact you are still growing and your body converts fat really well. You probably will fill out more as you age. Stuffing yourself and getting out of shape now is bad because it starts a bad trend.

It could just be that you have a high metabolism. When you get older it will most likely slow and you'll gain weight.
I was always way too skinny through high school even though I ate a ton of food and was active in sports, I couldn't gain a pound. When I was around 20 or so I guess my metabolism slowed down some and I finally filled out and was (and still am) happy with my weight.
Don't neglect your health by trying to just eat and be a 'blob' - muscles weigh more and (obviously) look better than fat, so stay active, and let your body fill out on its own, you're only 15! You have a lot of growing to do yet. :)

Are you saying that when skinny people exercise it doesn't bulk them up? Look at bodybuilders- little to no body fat. Muscle on a guy is 100 tiems sexier than fat. Skinny boys are skinny and have chicken muscles, and they can't blame that on lack of fat. Watch a hot buff guy flex, and I'm telling you, when they flex, it's not fat bumping up thurr..


Also, look at the athletic guys in your school who wear basketball shorts. Their legs look normal weight, but nice. That's cuz they got the calf muscles.
Don't be a blob, yo.

And yes, I know what its like to be skinny, Im a girl, 5'10" tall, 130lbs. I've been trying to gain weight all my life and finally realized that if I just work out and eat more to compensate for that, everybody loves my body. But Im a girl, so.....



by the way, 5'3"-5'5" is very very short for a guy. You are normal weight if you are 140 and that height.

Well i dont think you are skinny you are OK for your age but its just my opinion when i was your age i weight less than 120 but it also depends on your heigh so If you feel unhappy just tried to eat more on breakfast and a shake of protein.

There are protein shakes and body building suplements and formulas which not only make you gain muscle, but weight too.

Research those a bit, then give it a try.
