Go buy some Kanka or those mouth sore disks. They numb the area and protect it from further harm.

Had the same problem, use the wax your orthodontist provided, and if you do not like that, I got tissue paper, ripped of a small bit, balled it and stuck it in there (works really well), as for the cuts themselves, I cannot help you there, the mouth is one of the fastest parts of the body to heal, so unfortunately if I were you I would just wait it out.

Simply put a cotton swab at the point of cuts shut your mouth & stay like that for 10 minutes, & its gone. Also wash your mouth with mild non corrosive mouthwash solution. Don't forget to consult your Dentist. Their must be some problem with the retainer.

Why would you put baking soda on a sore in your mouth? That will only make it worse.
The cells in the mouth heal faster than any other part of the body. Let it be (NO BAKING SODA) and it will heal on it's own in 3 days.

Clean it with soap and water or table salt and water. Use Polysporin as directed on package, twice daily and cover with bandage. Don't ever use Neosporin or generic Neosporin; it doesn't have enough of the good medicine, and adds a third detrimental ingredient that can slow down healing.

You can use your wax if you got it. If not ask for some. But about the sores just dont eat/drink a lot of sugar and take some medicine. It will happen for a while because your mouth needs to get used to it.

gargle with warm salt water-- it will clean out the sore- which is causing it to hurt so much because unfortunate for people, our mouths are cesspools compared to a dogs mouth- so gargle- even use listerine with it's germ killing action--- it might burn a bit but it will then subside.....you orthodontist should have given you a salve to apply to your gums before sleeping- if he didn't call him, because what it does is keep your braces from ripping the skin in your mouth and causing the sores while you sleep....think about it-- you face is on the pillow making the spikes from the retainer dig into your gums..........good luck hon--- happy smiling!!! it's all worth it for a beautiful smile!

Listerine. Its brutal and it will hurt you, but it will disinfect it. My bet is by tomorrow it will be gone on its own. Mouth wounds heal extremely fast.
