that i should ask out this guy who i really like but my friends would think im really crazy for dating him? i asked my bff what she would think if me and him were dating and she said "that would be really stupid beacuse hes ugly, and i think that u are really crazy"...... should i ask him out any ways?

My husband got better looking with age. I loved everything about him so much that I couldn't see straight. ha ha

Do what you think you like. But just to let you know my opioin going out with your best guy friend 9 times out of 10 never works! I have seen it all the time and it doesnt work at all. I am sorry staying good friends is worth alot more than a boyfriend for a few months or who knows even a year or more?

Well it's always nicer for the guy to ask you out, but if you're that into him, who cares what your BFF thinks? If you don't care that he's ugly, then why should she? If she does give you heck for it, just tell her that there's more to life than looks, and if she can't understand or support you, than maybe she's not as great of a friend as you thought . . .

Your friends' opinion is hers and only hers...she can't make stop liking him. And if you listened to everything she said, then you would be a pretty boring and fake person. But I'm sure you're smarter than to listen to someone else. If she thinks he's ugly, then that's her choice and her taste. But dont let her make your judgements. Learn to make independent decisions from your friends. Unless it affected her in some way that you guys went out, then (I'm sorry to say) it's really none of her business. Only you know if he's a guy that will make you happy. Don't go for what people say, usually that leads to nothing. Unfortunately we can't please everyone so do what you want.

You should go fo it. Being friends before dating is always a plus... my man and I built a friendship prior to becoming an item and I would not change it for the world. It makes your bond so much stronger than you would ever imagine. And who really cares, as long as you're happy. Your "bff" should be happy for you... and if she cannot be then she really is not the greatest friend. I say go for it, and you will see the payoff.

Ok first of all you shouldn't care what your friends say about the boy that you like because if you really like him then that's going to be your guy not theirs. Another thing is that if you really like him then you should go for it but make sure that he also has feelings for you because there are some guys that would feel cocky just because a girl ask him out or something like that so just becareful. Make sure you know what you are doing. But hey it's better to try then never doing it.

Oh my oh my! You are standing in my shoes about 4 years ago. I fell for this totally hideous guy when I was 15, he had a good heart though and that's what I liked about him. Well all my friends thought it was weird, yet cute. I just stood my ground and said "you know what, I like him a lot, if you are my friends you will respect me and my decision". They were all cool with it after that, and I never really had to worry about any of my friends.. (or anyone else) ... trying to steal him away! haha .. it was a great relationship. Follow your heart, stand your ground, and believe in your decision.

Absolutely! That was not a good answer that your "so called" best friend gave you. My question is how could someone say they're your best friend and not want to see you happy no matter who you're with?
You should definitely do what your heart tells you to do. never what your friends tell you. be happy for you. if you like the guy then ask him out.

do you really like this guy and think you may date .. or just want to go on a date with him .. cause if its just a casual date don't risk stress with your friends .. but if you really feel a connection with him go for it .. the ugly ones always turn out either rich or gorgeous anyways

see ur friend only sees guys from their looks and not for what they are, so your friend is stupid for saying that. if you really like this guy then ask him out and see him what he is and not for what he looks like. how would you feel if you were the ugly one and but from the inside ur a **** loving girl.. think about that...follow your heart
