Look! I'm a girl, so this should be a simple answer, right? Wrong! Call her and ask her how she is. If you go to the same school, then set up a study date. I'm not mushy, but if you spend enough time together you will learn if they are the best choice. You know what they say. OPPOSITES ATTRACT!!!!!

hang out, get to know eachother more. Do things that are fun, exciting, and things that you both like to do, and things you've never done before. Feelings will grow between you, and you'll start experimenting with ways of showing how each of you care about one another. Just roll with it. Do what feels natural.
