French twist and bun are good answers, but divide hair in half, just abouve the ears, roll the hair around the stick, then roll the bottom half the opposite way use a third stick or clip to bring together, creates a figure 8.

I heard that useing chop stick was a big no no.But a cute way would be to put your hair in a french roll with out the hair stick out the top all wild and stick the chops in an X .Get it watch 13 going on 30.

You make a bun and then stick chopsticks in it. ( I'm Chinese)
That's what I sometimes do. It doesn't look like hollywood stuff but it works for a casual day out shopping.
