I use a blow dryer and a straightener on my hair every day and my hair feels soft and silky. I always have compliments on my hair. Just try and always use a good conditioner and shampoo like Thermosilk which is heat activated and if it starts to weigh your hair down after a while, use a clarifying shampoo a couple of days and then go back to your normal shampoo and conditioner. Winter time is so hard on your hair anyway so it wouldn't matter if I blow dried it or not. Hair tends to always be dry in the winter. I couldn't live without my hair dryer!!! Hope I helped you answer your question!

Not a good idea, but if you absolutely have to, try heat protecting creams. They come in a variety of brands, and they will not only protect your hair from excessive damage but also help the heat dry or straighten you hair quicker, smoother for a healthier shine, and not the burnt hair smell.

I used to when i was in going to this certain college that didnt have any salons close by so I had to do my own hair and i would be frying it daily, but i realized it was damaging my hair too much and after giving my hair 3 months of rest my hair grew like 4.5 inches.

I don't, because hair dries out if it's heated too much. I'll usually use heat every other day or more.

It depends what your hair does naturally. I personally do, because I have ugly wave and I like it straight

Depends on your hair type. I don't recommend it because it will dry your hair out.
