hello,
i'm german and live in mexico.in order to stay in touch with my folks back home in germany i simply signed up with SKYPE for free and purchased a phone number (from the states offered by SKYPE)......so i'm able to receive calls.i now can make calls to every house or cellular phone in the world and i can receive calls from everywhere in the world.i called my mom yesterday and talked to her for one hour and it only cost me 1.20U$. unbeliveable.very good sound as well....as she would be right next door.

I have Cingular cell phone service. My "Worldwide" calling is about $5 a month. I also use my phone when I'm in Colombia (roaming charges are expensive). Check with your cell phone provider, then get online and type in "worldwide" calling and compare rates. There are a lot of providers to choose from.
