I would like you to tell me how you met your partner;
The interesting stories where you meet years after the first time you saw one another by some random act of fate, or where there were unusual circumstances that just make you think it was meant to be.
The type of stories you'd tell your grand children or the stories you recollect between each other and laugh.

My 'meet-cute':
At a friend's house, two friends with the mental age of 8 between them, Jamie walks in – cute & a musician – we talked about religion, adult conversation! I had to kiss him - I had forgot about that.
Next morning we were all crashed out on the couch, I woke up to him rubbing my sore shoulders. We exchanged glances & he left.
A few months later we met on the train, I gave him my number but just as it was my stop I realised it was the wrong number.
I missed my chance.
The next year I constantly asked my friend 'So, how's Jamie?' until finally he gets the hint, Jamie & I get together.
I later find out he had been living just two streets away from me the whole time.
We share many friends, his best friend was even born & living in my old house before me.
He tells me that in fact he had met me twice before, years ago at a club, he had been a guy who had seen me waiting alone for a taxi & waited to see me safely into the taxi, he had remembered me all those years.

My husband and I met on an internet dating service in 1998 (before it was fashionable). I was in Europe at the time, studying abroad. I came back that summer and we called each other for about a month before we got up the nerve to meet.
We met in a coffee shop. I had gotten there early and went into the bathroom. When I came out, I saw him in line, I recognized him from his picture. When he saw me he did a double take that made me blush, and that got us off on the right foot.
He listened to me talk for three hours, looking at me as though hypnotized. At the end of the evening, he walked me to my car and kissed me, very neatly, on the mouth. But what was so sweet was that my hand was on his back and I felt him trembling. It was so sweet that he was nervous (I'd dated a lot of cocky guys before).
When I drove home that night I wrote in my diary I'd met the man I was going to marry... me who had only the previous year started to resign myself to possibly never marrying. Our seventh anniversary is coming up, and we have two sweet little kids together who know Mommy and Daddy love each other.

After I met my now-husband, I learned that he lived less than a block from where my step-mother had lived for the 2 years she and my father had dated. I probably passed him on the street several times... but we finally met at a church picnic (in a different state) that I was NOT going to go to except that my father insisted...... fate!

I was bored one day at work and set up a profile on my local online dating website. I saw this really cute boy and read his profile. We checked each others profiles out for a few days, then I sent him a message.. He called me that night, we talked on the phone for 2 hours, met the next day and we've been insepperable ever since.. I remember looking into his eyes the first time i saw him and I knew he was the one! Sometimes you find just what you're looking for when you least expect it!!

My husband was my neighbor for 10 years... he was a party boy and I was the church girl who was a closet partyer... we never thought much of each other he hung out with my brother... and I hung out with his sister... we saw each other in passing, he thought i was too good for him... i thought he was too much of a bad boy... anyway... my brother wasn't home one night when he came over to hang out (my husband and I are the same age...)
So instead, he and i hung out, we found we liked hanging out that even though our backgrounds were TOTALLY different,,,(i.e he likes rap, i like rock, he likes Mex girls, i like long haired guys...etc) to make a long story short one night we were hanging out watching movies and i leaned over and kissed him totally out of the blue and not something i typically do, he was surprised but kissed me back... we started dating, it was one of those, two week later things where we said, so are we like officially dating? Laughing... The story is better, the way he asked me to marry him was so awesome, but i wont bore you with the details... i answered your question :)
