Is religion an addiction for a religious fanatic?

Can it be as detromental to a person life and families like other addictions can? (drugs, gambling, porn & alcohol)

yes, it is. yep. you would never get them too admit it though. all a part of their denial. it is the fanatic them self who is the last too know.

hmm... this is a good question.

i think people's fears can get the best of them (fear of going to hell) and get in the way of common sense.....

but i suppose in a sense SOME (a VERY small percent) would fall into this category
