K... I know that most christians don't understand evolution as wall as some people that have studied it, but we get the main theme. To some of it, I agree, like I do believe that humans have evolved some traits to make us stronger and more able to withstand certain thngs.
But I don't think we evolved from one cell micro-organisms that eventually crawled out the sea and grew legs. If that were the case, then all organisms would be human.. either that, or close to it.
I think that most evolutionists have forgotten that they still haven't found the "missing link". Don't you think, in all this time, they would find SOMETHING that would account for that link?
Also, primates might be close to humans, as far as bone structure and anatomy. They are still not able to understand or solve the same things humans can. If they were evolving too, wouldn't there be a way to find the missing link at this point? That is if they were still evolving.
I do believe the big band theory. It would make sense that God would use that to bring matter together, and spread matter outward. But, I don't think that humans came from a microscopic, one-cell organism that eventually crawled out of the sea. We are too complex for that. If you don't believe, take a few human anatomy classes, or some medical classes. Trust me, I went to over 8 years of medical school. We are more complex then anything that could have crawled out of the water.
Sorry to all those evolutionists out there, but to me, most of it just doesn't fit with what I think.
Like I stated before, yes we have evolved some. We got taller over the years. We have gotten smarter, but I don't think that the first humans were really more stupid then us, they just didn't have the technology, or the idea to try.
Technology has come a very long way in the last little while. I think sometimes science and technology can make people think they know more then God does. We decide we want to believe something, and a lot of time, most of us don't want to deviate from that. Because of my work in the medical field, I have had to learn a lot about the science and knowledge of man.
I think that God knows more about science, technology, the laws of physics, and everything else you can think of better then any of us do. If He didn't, He couldn't have made everything He did. I think it's hard for us to understand it all because we don't know it all. We don't know all the secrets of the universe, or of science. Things are always being discovered, and more and more species are being discovered all the time. Some can be dated back millions of years. You would think that if evolution was working, these species would have evolved also. Why are they still the same as the day they came into being?
Also, if evolution was working all the time, why haven't humans evolved to a higher beings by now?? Shouldn't we be able to do more things then we do? You would think we would have evolved to have wings or something to keep us off the ground. But we aren't birds, and never will be. We can't evolve into higher beings. We are as high as we go for right now. Maybe when you die, you will learn the truth. And maybe us christians will be wrong, and maybe the evolutionists will be wrong. Right now, does it matter?

I was just sitting here thinking about that 'half evolved creatures' part. I was trying to understand what the heck they mean by it. Do they think that we would be watching animals drastically change right before out eyes? Like some sort of 'high speed' evolution? Are they really looking for a fish with the head of a elephant? My cats look exactly the same as they did 5 years ago. I guess that proves there is no such thing as evolution. Many of them do not seem to understand or what to understand the relationship between micro and macroevolution.

You don't seem to know ANYTHING about evolution. Must have gotten your info from the movie The Monkey Trials
It's PRIMATES not monkeys. Go take a course in Zoology.
That theory is also no longer in favor with mainstream science. It's now separate and distinct spieces.
There are NO follsils that show a complete deveopment and in any event you can draw DNA from them to see what the genes were doing.
What conculsions would a Space Alien draw if they found the skull of a Downs Syndrome person.
Are you calling Downs Syndrome evolution. You saying they are a throwback or something.
Their skulls are decided different from typical Homo Sapiens.
Evolution has no periodical table, like Chemists have. They may eventually have one, but to date no one classifies evolutionary changes like we do Atomic changes.
Evolution as a science is only 150 years old and no scientist will claim that humans or other complex animals evolve in just 150 years. Most claim it takes hundreds of thousands of years, if not millions of years.
A science like cosmology, infant as it is, can draw from things it can use as paralell factors.
Atomic blasts can be similar to the Big Bang and they know exactly who comes out and how it reacts.
Footprints are required for showing things.
Big Bang got it's authentication from finding the footprint of the Gama radiation 14 billions light yeras out 35 years after the theory was postulated. That footprint was important.
Postulating that footprint was important.
How did it get postualated. They knew how atomic releases should work based on the other theories.
Evolution is a nice idea, but it's got a long way to go before it has any meat on its bones as far as humans and other complex creatures are concerned.

microevolution exists, macroevolution does not. a species changes, but not so much to turn into an entirely new species, as there is no scientific evidence that a mutation can undoubtedly add genetic information to an organism.
to truly verify macro-evolution, you would have to examine every genetic pattern from every living organism out there. as far as we know, if a creature has a loss of one gene, it could render them a misfit for life, such as the chicken born without feathers. the child born with a tail is not proof of evolution, as the child merely had mis-matched or a deficiency in genetics, causing a growth of fat and tissue to form.
animals don't accept misfits, so if a monkey had a shorter tail by an inch, it wouldn't be accpted by the other monkeys, as only the best specimen that a female sees becomes her mate in the animal world, and its genes would be lost to its species. animals also pickj up pheremones, so if an animal has pheremones slightly different from others, it would be a misfit.
Christianity did not evolve from Judaism, as it did not keep the customs, rituals, or concept of God as the jews believe. God started Christianity, not mere man.

-there is no such thing as evolution. how did humans get lucky enough to actualy have sense? of course maybe your half evolved between monkey and human. you dont have much sense. evolution doesnt work! science proves genesis is correct.*
-all these fossils leading to humans are battered ape and human bones. monkey jaw, human forehead. besides, all fossils were made with Noah's flood. you dont see bones lying on the ground waiting to be made fossils.
-christianity did NOT evolve from judism. most jews hate christians. Jesus came and made christianity. and not out of judism. christianity and judism are not linked.
* the sun loses 2 feet of its diameter each hour. if the earth is millions of years old, then the sun would have been so big and close, the oceans would have boiled away. according to biblical studies, the earth is only about 7,000 years old. not 7,000,000,000......

Yes, I'm Christian, and yes, I understand how evolution works...
You ask 3 questions in your "additional info"
1) I've never even considered asking this... half-evolved? what's that supposed to mean, anyway? we'd only know that they were half evolved if we knew what that group would look like in a million years...
2) Regarding your comment about fossils of "pre-humans"... Do you know what Neanderthal Man looked like?... short small in stature), heavy brow bone, kinda pointed skull (when viewed from the front, but not from the side)... Yeah, sounds like one of my college professors...
3) According to evolution, we're not "descendants" of monkeys, rather we share ancestors... some primitive primate group split and some of them evolved into homo sapien and some evolved into... (whatever the Latin name is for chimpanzees, etc).....
BTW- are you the same one who was calling Christians "primitive" last night?

OK... how did DNA form... do you know that if you unfolded and straightened the spiral of the DNA in one cell it is over 18 inches long?
"The principle of [divine] purpose ... stares the biologist in the face wherever he looks ... . The probability for such an event as the origin of DNA molecules to have occurred by sheer chance is just too small to be seriously considered ... ."Ernst Boris Chain - Nobel Prize in medicine
Even the atheist ( I guess deist now) Antony Flew said that the latest biological research "has shown, by the almost unbelievable complexity of the arrangements which are needed to produce (life), that intelligence must have been involved."
may I suggest some reading

Ok, for your third one: Humans did NOT evolve from monkeys. Humans AND monkeys (and all other primates) both evolved from a common ancestor. Maybe you should learn a thing or two about evolution yourself.

If it in any way contradicts there understanding of Creation, they simply dismiss it as a mistake or a hoax.
Your answer about the monkeys isn't really an accurate analogy since all primates share a common, now extinct, ancestor, but it is probably a good way to make them understand that the question is illogical.

BIBLE AND RELIGIONS FOR HOW MANY YEARS?
People in religion just talk about religion when there are thousands. Most anything they talk about can give one the idea, it is best to cling to the bible, at least there is a solution to religion, religion and religion. In the bible God does not give us billions of years to deal with.
Bible time 1110 years, done 443 before Christ O.T. books of 66 in KJV, N.T. 50 to 100 years after Christ. KJV Bible published 1611, at 396 is 2007 in our common era, what kind of history is this?
At 6073 from Adam created, what kind of history is this? NOT AGE OF EARTH.
America 1776 plus 231 years is 2007, what kind of history is this?
EVOLUTIONARY THEORY TAUGHT IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS WHEN?
People in evolution, talk about evolution and never really tell any thing any one needs to know. Can people in evolution learn the bible. It is just a book?
Is evolution 148 years old?
People in the last 148 years trying to focus on billions of years past. How many years has it been a subject in school.
Are there any people who believe the bible and evolution?
DOES ANY ONE KNOW THE SHORTEST FORM TO SUMMARIZE EVOLUTION THEORY?
