The Gospels at the instant are no kind of information of the bible. They have been written by utilising evangelists as non secular testimony. besides, the Gospels at the instant are not an identical. They tell an identical thoughts in hugely distinctive strategies. Contradictory evangelical preaching would not information make. something interior the bible can't be seen information, provided that's evangelical testimony, purely like something written in the different non secular textual content, such with the aid of fact the Vedas or L Ron Hubbard's "Scientology: A historical past of guy." Heck, the Vedas are lots older than the previous testomony, and no person's claiming they are historic.

I didn't check the link. The Bible has been translated from Aramaic, Hebrew and Greek.
In 325 CE Council of Nicea decided what would be in the bible and what Christians were supposed to believe. (See the Nicean Creed). Many books were expunged from the Bible and many others were edited for content.
By the time of King James, there were so many variations in Bible translations, that the King ordered a translation that fixed everything that didn't agree with the current beliefs. (See King James Bible).
In the early 70s a popular translation of the bible was made in colloquial English, it was the farthest from the original. I believe it was titled "Now".
Basically, what you read in the Bible, today has been censored so many times, that the only way to get the original is to learn Aramaic, Hebrew and Greek.

It might, if the Gospel of Thomas hadn't been written 200 years after the time of Christ (compared to the 30 years or so from Christ to the earliest synoptic Gospel).

I suppose it does prove that Alexandrian Gnostics altered the words of Christ - not that its any big secret. There is a reason this book isn't in the Bible.

You are going to try to prove that the Bible is not correct, by some gnostic gospel?

That is a stretch.

The gnostic gospels were written 50 years or more after the last book of the Bible, and they were written by people who believed that knowledge was more important than God.

Sounds a little like some of the participants in this forum.

Dude I'm with you but you're a little wrong on this one. The gospels were voted upon as to what would be included and what wouldn't.

So its not if gospels were tampered with, its why were gospels included or excluded to being with, who made that decision (council of Nicea btw), and what was their reasoning for doing so.

The Dead Sea Scrolls prove the accuracy of our modern Bible.

All others "gospels" are what has been altered in order to divert you from the truth.
