Not so sure its nail fungus since you say they are darker in color. If it is fungus, use vicks vapor rub and also use a seperate pair of nail clippers on your good nails or you will spread it. If it were me, i would see a dermatologist to get a culture of the nails to be sure that is what it is.

Simply killing the fungi there on your nails seems like a reasonable thing but for the sake of your over-all health check to see if its cause is an overgrowth of yeast in your system manifesting itself there. The idea of "Digger" the damanafight(?) commercial advertising lamicil is the picture I am trying to convey. The reason it takes so long for that product to work is its cause is spread through your entire system and only manifests there.

My mom had told me before that bleach will kill the infection,,my roommate says that hydragen poroxide will pull the infection out & recently Iv read twice on Q&A that vicks vapor rub will cure it after a few weeks & one person said that their doctor told them that.

If it is nail fungus, my mother just got some nail fungus liquid stuff you put on your nails that looks like fingernail polish, like "fungicure" and it helped it. If you want any further help or suggestions, try webmd.com
