I'm going to loose her...?

Question

My girlfriend is going away next year to college i'm staying here because i'm attending a community college for one more year. I want to see her i want to be with her...but i just feel like it's going to be so difficult. I'm going to be working she's 2 hours away...is this even worth it anymore? Sometimes i just want to be single just to meet other girls at college and hook-up with them. I think about it a lot I feel like a fresh new start might be good for us. We've been dating for almost 3 years. But at the same time when i think about loosing her...and her leaving me i want to cry. I can't bare being without her for more then 3 days how am i going to handle only seeing her once to twice a month? I want to go to the same college as her but my mother forbids me to apply anywhere until after i receive my associates degree. She thinks i'm to much of a "party boy" I want to major in chemistry or physics. Why am I feeling so hurt...I want to go with her...how can i? is there a way??

I think enjoy the time you have together while you are in school together. When she goes away to college it might be best to break it off temporarily on good terms. This is a really good time for you both to experience new things and if you find out that you both want to be together after a semester or so passes in college you can always get back together. But this time in your life will only happen once so make the most of it and make sure you enjoy your life. I was once in your shoes and i wish i would have done that. Instead we ended up cheating on each other and even though we both wanted to get back together the damage was done and the trust was gone, we ended up never talking again. If you guys give each other the space you both need maybe you will avoid much of the crazy drama.

First of all, she's just 2 hours away. Why can't you see her more than 2 times a month? She could drive to see you, you to see her or meet half way.

If you are already having feelings that you want to be single, then you two should agree to see other people. I say this because, if you are already thinking it now, it's only going to get worse when she is gone. Maybe she is feeling the same way too, so you should talk to her about it too.

it just might work suggest Weekends maybe its for the good u and her will do well in school apart. I know your Mother will be happy and later-on u will to education is first. But please just talk to her she might be feeling the same only u know her. You know what to say and what not to say be careful and gentle with this and take your time.

Start by seeing her once per week then every other week so you will get used to the idea of seeing her once per month next year. Let her go to the college of her choice and you choose your school also based on what you want to do and study.

WELL IT IS TRUE THAT BEING APART FROM EACH OTHER DOESNT HELP THE RELATIONSHIP. BUT IF YOU REALLY WANT THIS TO WORK YOU NEED TO FIND A WAY TO MAKE IT HAPPEN.
