Hypocrisy is one of the things that turned me away from Christianity. For myself (and myself alone) I have found that the old pagan practices are far less hypocritical and more about personal spirituality.

The earth is the Lord's and the fullness therof ;the world and they that dwell therein.
Psalms 24:1
Where does it say anything about "we must be good stewards of the earth"?
Please read the bible.
Remember the bible does say scripture is not to be privately interpreted.(2 Peter 1:20)
Remember if any interpretation doesn't agree with the rest of the bible it needs to be rechecked.
