Do HD TV's still use NTSC and PAL?

Since they are all digital, and NTSC and PAL are analog signals, do they apply to HDTV's?

It appears that their are still three formats for now NTSC HDTV, PAL HDTV, SECAM HDTV. All they did was upgrade the older signals to HD. They hope that HD will eventually replace all three and be the world standard. However, for now, you still have to have a multi-system HDTV.

It sucks. I know.
