As a professional engineer I would have to say no free will. The ethics in my profession demand that I build safe machines. If the machine is no longer controllable or predictable, then it can no longer be relied on to be safe.

I'd rather have an enslaved machine than risk a human life. I would ensure that should a machine lose control it could be destroyed.

Sounds like the Anunnaki story all over again

I'm sorry but I read somewhere that they were trying to create robots that could possibly overrun us? I don't see the logic in that

Any created artificial intelligence should have the equivalent of a shotgun hardwired to it's brain...
