Do you think part of love is knowing you can never be without a person? That you can't be whole?
I am single now and I am whole. For me, happiness comes from the inside, not from others. Marriage and kids are good, but I don't think I really believe in love. I will always be happy because I am a happy person. I've been sad in the past from break ups, but it goes away.
Most people who think they are in love realize later that they were wrong. For me, right now I am single, never married, age 24.

I do believe in love. But you should be ready for it, not dependent on it. You should want to find a partner, and want to GIVE love, not just be loved. It's about sharing your life, not every minute or even every day, just some of the most important moments of your life, good or bad.

I do believe in love. Love for me though is undefinable. I agree with being whole while being single. I dont need someone to be happy. You need to be happy single before you can ever make someone else happy. I wish you would believe in love because just because you havent experianced true love yet, you will eventually.

It will sneak up on you and you will find out that it is difficult not to be with them. You have the right idea because a person has to make their own self happy and not put that responsibility on someone else. I t will be meant for you to enjoy each others company and be happy together.

Love is an addition to an already amazing self. It enhances who you are but should not replace who you are. I agree that many people believe they need another to be whole but that is a lie. If you cannot be complete alone you will never be able to love and be loved.
great question and insight!

Love is real. Love is what you said that you can't be without your other half, you can't sleep or you can't stop thinking about them. You can't wait to see them and your heart beats everytime you do. You miss them when they are gone. I do believe in love cause I am in love with my husband and have been since the first time he said hello to me. It's sad that you dont' believe in it because it's a wonderful thing to feel.

Love isn't just a feeling, it's an action.
Love is patient; love is kind.
It does not envy; it does not boast.
If is not rude; it is not self-seeking.
It is not easily angered; it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails . . . .
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But love is the greatest

No. Love is knowing you CAN be without the other person and knowing that you'd rather not because you totally respect that person and trust them because they have earned that trust and respect.
I doubt you will ever find that person, however. I hope you do.
