I just bought a Mossberg 835 back in December the gun shoots fine but evrytime I pump to load the next shell it jams because the last shell in the magazine pops out of place and gets stuck in the way. Do any other mossberg 835 owners have this proble or does anyone have any suggestions on how to correct the problem?

I have owned a few Mossberg pumps and have never really had a problem w/feeding. But others have borrowed them on occasion and said they had problems w/feeding. I told them it had to be something they were doing, maybe not pulling it back all the way in a fluid motion. If you're drawing it all the way back then there possibly could be a manufacture problem. I would contact Mossberg before taking it to a gunsmith.

Mine has never failed to load. You need disassembly if the shells are jamming inside the magazine, if you cannot rectify the problem yourself, or there is issue of voiding the warranty (seems unlikely) contact Mossberg preferably, or a good gun-smith.

Are you bringing the forearm all the way back? In a rapid fashion?

My 835 works like a dream. Haven't heard to many complaints about shells hanging up either.

Never had a problem with mine. It's a great firearm. Did you buy it new? It has a 10 year warranty. You might want to tear it down and maybe check the spring in the magazine.
