I think the more pertinent question here is "Why is this question on the Singles & Dating forum" instead of (if it exists) the "Weird, Perverted and Frankly Sicko forum"?
Or is this leading up to a minor revelation about your (lack of) love life?
Don't get me wrong, it's an interesting question which demands a rational answer - which in my case will take the form of the retort, "Why would I *ever* want to do what you described?"
And why indeed, when that part of my body remains hidden from view to me and the rest of the world (apart from in bed, and I'm quite sure it's not the major point of focus - unless of course, one is gay, in which case, I can see your fixation with anal grooming)? Unless you have serious problems with aim, or with cleaning up afterwards, I see no point in observing the procedure of defaecation other than the one previously described, or that you are truly a sick, perverted individual.
Is there a philosophy behind this? No. I think not. Unless it reads - don't listen to the person who watches themselves take a dump-they usually spout absolute rubbish at people for whom the subject-matter has little or no relevance whatsoever.
In summatum: get a life.
