I am not Athiest, Just can't buy into the whole Jesus fable. My wife is the daughter of a Pastor (Baptist). my Daughter goes to Private Christian school. I agreed to this for several reasons. Smaller school, Better Student Teacher Ratio, Better Education.
Heres the question. From what I have seen, the school puts Jesus in about everything. I want my daughter to have more than I had, but I also don't want her growing up as nieve and ignorant to the real world as her Mother was. Do I pull her out of this school and put her in public school???

Not of the primary education (reading, writing, math) is first rate. YOu won't get that in public school.

You can't escape reality in the world unless you join a cult and just live one way.

Wow, I feel for you. Have you considered home-schooling. You can have her attend different churches of different faiths with her friends. Or having conversations with her about other forms of beliefs and their systems.

Youo can look into other private schools. I just moved to Washington State, but back in Hawaii there was a private school called, Waldorf for arts, actors, or talented children. It also ranked incredibly well in academics. Almost everyone I knew from there went on to college to pursue high paying careers.

So, see what she's into and maybe you'll find a school that fits her well. Without all the religon.

However in the immediate remedy, trying talking with her. Have a father Daughter thing going on. The internet is great for religious research. There are hundreds of books for all sorts of faith.

Ask her do right a paper on diffrent belief systems throughout Asia or something. To compliment her Private School Studies.

that's what their pastors are telling them. then you definately've all of the critics popping out with books on what the Mormons have faith, do no longer pay attention to Mormons pay attention to what I say. Even the ex-Mormons say lots that the the Church does no longer coach. after which you have a member quoting his/her own opinion and abruptly that's the coaching of the Church. And @ Zena. truly? Jesus is Michael? that's Jehovah Witnesses who have faith that. The LDS Church teaches that Jesus is Jehovah. Adam is Michael. And as for the Jesus is a brother of devil. that's interior the pre-existence existence. earlier this international became even created. devil rejected the Plan of Salvation and fought together with his father and Jesus. He became defeated and forged out of heaven alongside with a one million/3 of the hosts. Any dating became terminated at that think approximately time. Jesus went on and grew to alter into the only begotten Son of God. devil under no circumstances gained a physique, so he became under no circumstances born. that's like today, you spot a infant who has been disowned, that's as though he under no circumstances existed. For Mormons that's a non-subject, devil became disowned and not considered component of the family of God. We in user-friendly terms worship God, via His Son, Jesus Christ.

don't deprieve your child of this experience,if you don't buy into the jesus thing respect your wife and your child and let her remain at the school, consider this- she stays, she learns good values and morals based on the principle of jesus and secular society. she remains faithful to jesus and may attain salvation from this. if you take her out,she goes to school at a place where there are less values and morals taught, and she may lose interest in jesus and thus no salvation. she isn't being nieve and if she is right and so is your wife then what is the harm done?

it is good for a child to grow up with secular knowledge but also with faith in God, I believe that Jesus Christ can only enrich her life, by giving her hope and love, instead of detrimenting her life. I'd suggest keeping her there. Public schools are more "hectic" as the kids aren't as disciplined.

I think you should stay out of it and let your wife deal with it. You are bound for hell. Don't try to take the child with you.
