wondering if union pacfic railroad is buying out csx railroad?

The interstate commerce commission would have to approve any buyout, to prevent a monopoly. At one time UP and CSXT, I believe, were going to merge but the ICC said no.

KCS would be the most vulnerable class 1 railroad but due to their excessive debt it would not be feasible for any railroad to buy them out.

that would be one H 3|_ |_ of a buyout. i dont theink either company has the assets to overcome the other
