think the advice in this book works on gullible, unsophisticated (and, I might add, unattractive) men. Any girl who would "not return my phone calls", as the books advises, would be so gone out of my life so fast that she wouldn't know what hit her.

If a girl tried it...um yeah I bet she doesn't have that boyfriend anymore. What you have to do in a relationship all depends on who you're in the relationship with. Following the "rules" would make your relationship be a lot less than it could be. Seriously, I wouldn't have called my now bf, i dont think we'd be together for as long as we have (2 years).

I'm not sure what you're asking... are you referring to the "no calls until 3 days after the first date" type of rules? And the "no calls after 2 weeks is kewl..." To be honest, every girl is different. But there are rules and sure, we follow them to a certain degree. But hey, I was never the type of girl to call a guy AT ALL until I met my guy 3 years ago. In fact, I asked him out!
Plus, if we couldn't break them, there wouldn't be rules! They're there for exactly that purpose. :)

I flipped through that book once and wanted to vomit. It actually forbids women to go dutch, a practice in which I am a staunch believer, just to make men feel like strong men. Well, what if we want to feel like strong women? (Just so you know, one of the writers ended up divorced. That says it all.)
