well firstly, a man who would marry a girl who just wants him for his greencard must be pretty desperate kind of like those guys who get mail order brides. but yeah, the guy has to be pretty much a loser if he can't get a woman from his own country to marry him (no offense to those that are into mail order brides). marriage is a big deal, and the language barrier, cultural differences, and obligation of the female to please her husband (bc he abled her to get a green card) is not worth it really. and what if they had children? what kind of family would that be? i've seen men marry women from overseas and it turns out great, but that's only because they marry out of some sort of love for eachother/compatibility, not a green card.
