I had an argument with some people today, and some had argued that people who tend to convert to any religion (Islam particularly) tend to be teenagers, some had said that they tend to be the elderly....do you know? I am not sure. So, does anyone have any statistics or a website that lists this kind of information? Thank you for your time.

I don't have any statistics but I would assume it'd be sometime in their 20's when they are away from the pressure to believe the same thing as their family. That's also when they are in college and can take classes on other religions if they want.

No website, merely experience: most "converts" to Christianity are 20 or younger. This "most" is by no means all. But this would put an "average" age at 25, maybe.
Then there's the prodigal child: conversion or rededication?

I am unsure about Islam in particular
but from what i have obsereved personally
i believe teenagers loose faith and rebel against it round about 16 - 18
many people convert to some sort of religion at about 30
but this is just my own personal experience

I'm pretty sure it varies significantly. I doubt many converts are teens. I know there are many Christian teens, but they are usually raised that way. I think the appeal of the world is stronger at that time than a little later on.

I've never seen any stats of that type, but for what it's worth, I converted to Catholicism at age 32.
