I would like to send my daughter to the local private school here in Perth, Western Australia - ' Reaboth Christian School' I phoned up the school and the lady from admin asked me if I attend church. I said I am a christian , I just don't attend church on Sundays. She said they mainly only allow practising christians into the school.
Just because I don't attend church dosen't make me any less of a chirstian then those who do attend church.
I personally think it is wrong. God would never turn away his children and it makes me laugh when these so called christians turn you away because you don't attend church.

Don't get me wrong she did say I could come in for an interview still but how could I put my daughter through all that interviewing process just to be rejected. It is like they are saying my daughter isn't good enough for there school.

Does this school have more applicants than available slots? If so, I think it is perfectly reasonable that preference be given to those who meet their criteria.

They probably practice a strict form of christianity, and do not see you as a proper christian as you don't attend one of the most important sacraments of the church. If you truly think your daughter belongs in the school, i suggest you keep trying, as the school shouldn't have the right to judge a child's faith by the way their parents practice their faith. If your family isn't used to practicing strict religious rituals, your daughter may have trouble assimilating in the school, though. Also, if you don't see the school as a good example of christianity, why send your child there?

That's very strange. The private Christian schools here accept anyone.....churched, Christian or not. Just doesn't sound right. Something really wrong with that.

That's a bunch of crap. You can't get in just because you don't go to church? What a joke.
And if this was a question- Yes, it is wrong.

That's ridiculous. If I were you I wouldn't want my child going to a place that sends that message.
