With all the bickering between religious extremists, their open wars and hostility towards one another, compounded by the race for religious nuclear weapons, and nation leaders willing to destroy their neighbors, how long before religious zealots have purchased us all a front row ticket to Armageddon? In a modern world, would we not be better off without a judgmental deity that tends to dehumanize non-believers of any other ideal?

Someone once told me that the world should be divided into two religious factions - those who believe in one or more gods, and those who believe in one or fewer. You see, the real problem is what might be called Nominalism -- our propensity to name or categorize things in a particular way. The answers you get depend upon the questions you ask. Ever think of Americans as Materialist Extremists? Why is it that we, the only people to have deliberately nuked innocent men, women and children into radioactive vapor, feel we occupy the moral high ground when it comes to nuclear proliferation? The Iranians have never nuked anybody. Where do we get off telling them that they can't have nukes but we can? And while we're on the subject of religious extremists, it was the American and Russian governments in 1963 that nearly caused the destruction of the Earth. One government was Materialist Extremist, and the other was Godless Communist. No religion there at all. Go figure.

Their hate will not cause the destruction of the earth. They are just showing their true colors. Truly, their thoughts and actions do not put them in the category of Jesus' followers. Love would be the identifying trait. The Bible has a prophecy in Revelation that says the United Nations will rid the earth of false religion. It is called Babylon the Great. The world's governments are fed up with the extremism that you mentioned in your question. God's Kingdom will bring forth a peaceful earth where all will submit to the sovereign rulership of our creator. Imagine how wonderful that will be! As for Armageddon, Jehovah, our God, will cause that to happen only against those he considers wicked. The righteous will be left over on the earth to once again start the human race on a beautiful paradise earth.

My friend there is one religious sect causing all the trouble. These are the super rich and powerful people whose god is Lucifer. They are the ones who plan all the wars and depressions. They pit one group of people against another.
Their goal is to bring the world into a one world government and to eventually having everyone worshipping Lucifer by name.
Have you noticed that bombs are not going off in the USA , like they are in other countries? That is because the the big boys have not given the word to go yet. Of course they gave the word for 911. And when they give the word again, things will start happening again over here.

lol Believing many gods exist isn't something. The Jews have faith many exist, yet basically worship one. that is called Henotheism. The bible backs this thought up. And no, the bible would not call them "fake gods". It purely says to no longer worship different gods - a regulation for Israel, no longer the international. And capitalization wasn't an argument. this concept that spelling God makes "god" distinctive is BS. Hebrew and Greek did no longer have capital and small letters... they have been each of an identical length. that concept did no longer happen until the English lang became famous in Europe. in the event that they do no longer seem to be worth of remark, then you definately would not have lined them. many faiths surely. basically Judaism, Christianity and Islam is seen "monotheist"... or maybe then the Jews have faith many gods exist, yet insist on worshipping basically one. that is complicated telling the # of polytheistic religions, as they have been surely derived out of the cultures of the folk. occasion - there's no longer basically one interior of reach american "faith".... there is one for each Tribe. It became an identical way with ecu tribes.

yes, the hate of all the false religions and unbelievers for the one true God Jehovah will bring the earth to the brink of total destruction.
only the return of Jesus Christ will save the earth.
and soon.
we will then see how capable you feel in criticizing Almighty God.
