have anyone ever asked themselves why their father is not in your life even when you left the same state that he was in with you? because i recently gone away to college but it doesn't matter really because my father has never been a father to me but i never going back their to see him and every day i moving on in my life and going somewhere else and he is still going to be their in michigan not caring about where i am or whatever?
the thing is i always wonder he didn't raised me because he wasn't ready, or he' confused, or maybe he wants to tell me what he really feels but thinks its too late and he failed?

Unless there is a reason like being a criminal or druggie, if you are wondering, you make the first move. Don't wait on him to do it. Whatever the reasons for his failure to be there your mind will be set at ease in the matter. Next time you go back home, make it a point to look him up. Or write him a letter. Make contact. And remember, even if he doesn't respond, at least you will have made the effort to get to know him better.
