i was dating this girl and talked everyday, had a lot of fun and never argued. recently she asked me to give her space though. it's now been a little over a week..how much longer should i wait? and then should i text her or something? and what should i say in the text? like "hey what's up, hope you're doing well" or "hey stranger" something like that? please give me some examples! thanks

this is tricky, i mean she asked you for space but i say you should wait a week or two and the text her somthing like "i was thinking of you and wanted to know if you're okay."
but chances are that she probably found someone else that interested her more.

give her time but not too much.. you dont wanna be waiting by the phone forever while she's run of with someone else. But texting is always a good thing.. Just text with hi how are hope you're doing good so and so on...Good luck

no.. not stranger.. its pushy. but text her.. calling might be over the edge...just be friendly and dont text too much.. if she answers immediately she probly wants to talk but if it takes awhile and she has short answers-- wait longer... just say hey whats up and ask hows shes been and stuff.. but just barely.. progress over time!! good luck!! you sound nice and you'll be fine..

just text her but talk to her like a friend for a while
Examples:
"Hey"
"Wasup"
"Any plans for the weekend"
"so how's life on your side"
just keep it simple!
