of course your still angry at them..."how could they say that to me".....Hon, it was something inside them that let them say that to you....Maybe some of the things you did weren't so spiffy, and that is how they reacted....Words can hurt as bad as a punch in the face....especially if it is over and over and over again.....Of course you miss them....The parents that you wish they would have been to you....that hurts....but if you let it continue to consume you, then you become what they said....Life doesn't come with an owners manual, and we can't choose who our parents are...You have to take how you were treated, and for sure, if you ever have kids, you break that cycle, and be a better parent to them than yours were to you.....That is how you "show" them your not! (I know they aren't here, I mean that metaphorically) My mom was a sloppy drunk woman, a lot of when I was growing up....she had her really good days, but in my teen years, 13-19, by 3pm she was semi sloshed, and she'd "start" with me...she tortured my inner spirit so bad I can't begin to tell you, and my father was not a very nice man...He never hit me, he didn't have to. He would insult me till he got me crying, and that made him feel very powerful, when he was just a man who didn't know how to be a "Dad".....When my mother died, I had only seen her 3x's in 25 years.....by her doing..my siblings saw her less....she screwed up my sister and brother but good...I bawled my eyes out the day I got that phone call, and my father did a 360...we are good friends now. and he has a lot of guilt....I made it a point a long time ago, I was done with letting the "past" eat away at me....A. it isn't healthy. B. why, it wasn't my fault....Letting go of what hurt you is hard, but please try....Don't you deserve to be happy? Of course you do....and you can't change things you can not change....But you can change your future.....Misery or Happiness......You have to make a choice....and let go as hard as it is....IF you need some help with it, go to a counselor, there's no shame in that, getting it all off your chest....I bet just writing your question made you feel good for a second to just "tell" someone your hurt. Don't let it consume you, ok?......

If your hair is really that pink, people might think you are a bit crazy. I like it. I say be yourself and don't worry about what people think. Crazy is good........keeps us all on our toes. :)

People REALLY do think I'm crazy because they don't understand me, & they think they know me, but they don't.

Sounds to me as if they may have been right. They're probably glad to be free of you as well. Too bad.
