As Christians we are to be always ready to share why we believe, and to give an answer for the hope that is in us.
For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, FOR it is the Power of God, to everyone who believeth, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
Hebrews 11:1,6
2 Timothy 3:16,17
Ephesians 4:4,5,6
Sharing the scriptures that have remained unchanged throughout generations is awesome.
All have heard Romans 10:13-18
1 Thess. 2:13 Not the words of man but GOD'S word.

Like others, the first thing I thought of was 1 Peter 3, but notice what Paul was did, "But Saul increased all the more in strength, and confounded the Jews who lived in Damascus by proving that Jesus was the Christ." (Acts 9:22)
Isaiah 1:18 says, "Come now, and let us reason together."
Romans 1:20 says, "For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:" Since nature itself is evidence that God exists, then it is beneficial to show others this evidence so they may come to believe also and be saved.
Notice the proof the apostles used in Acts 2. They showed what the prophets and scripture said, they pointed to the miracles that had been seen, and they pointed to the witnesses of the resurrection. Peter did not just tell them to "know assuredly" that Jesus was the Christ (verse 36), but he also showed them evidence.

1Peter 3:15
But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

Absolutely.
Peter tells us, "Instead, exalt Christ as Lord in your hearts. Always be prepared to give a defense to everyone who asks you to explain the hope you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak evil of your good conduct in Christ will be ashamed of slandering you." (I Peter 3:15-16)
